We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team based in our Saint John, NB office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

The Receptionist possess a professional demeanor and exemplary client service skills while representing Stewart McKelvey as the first point of contact for all telephone and personal visits to our office.

The Receptionist will greet and provide an exceptional client experience to all clients, guests, lawyers and staff. The Receptionist provides prompt notification to the appropriate party within the Firm of their clients or guests arrival, manages the flow of incoming calls to the appropriate party within the Firm, schedules the use of boardrooms and video conferencing equipment and maintains ongoing knowledge of office personnel.

In addition, the Receptionist is responsible for opening and closing the reception area, maintaining the cleanliness of client board rooms and the catering of onsite meetings.

Along with client and customer facing duties, the Receptionist will perform data entry tasks and other administrative duties as assigned.

Previous related experience in a business environment and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook is required in this role.
