Concierge Security Guard -Downtown Toronto, ON

Canada Security is actively recruiting for the position of Concierge Security Guard in Downtown Toronto, Toronto, ON. We are looking for experienced guards with 2 years of minimum relevant experience, and the ability to access a vehicle. The role of the Concierge encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing concierge desk security, maintaining the security of the premises, and ensuring the safety of personnel through property patrols. This includes monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and making informed decisions about permitting or refusing entry. Quick and effective response to alarms is essential to achieve the desired outcomes.

Position Requirements:

Previous Experience in a Condominium Setting

Demonstrated Maturity, Reliability, and Honesty

Strong Attention to Detail, Including Record-Keeping, Report Writing, and Observation Skills

Exceptional English Verbal and Written Communication Abilities

Outstanding Judgment, Common Sense, and Decision-Making Skills

Competency in Operating Security Equipment and Systems, Including Camera Recording Systems, Computers, and Radios

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Comfort with Walking, Standing, and Patrolling

Possession of a Valid Ontario Security Guard License

Eligibility to Work Full-Time in Canada without Restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit Holder)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Regularly Inspect and Patrol the Premises

Monitor Property Entrances

Authorize the Entry of Individuals and Vehicles

Report Any Suspicious Behaviors or Incidents

Secure All Exits, Doors, and Windows

Monitor Surveillance Cameras

Respond Promptly to Alarms

Provide Assistance to Individuals in Need

Submit Daily Reports on Surveillance Activity

Report All Suspicious Actions Promptly
