Hiring Laser Cutting Machine Operator in North York

Job Title: Lead Cutting Machine Operator
Job Description: We are seeking 4 skilled and reliable Lead Cutting Machine Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with CAD cutting programs and CorelDRAW and will operate Trotec SP 1500 or SP 400 laser machines to cut letters and numbers using twill materials. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Trotec SP 1500 or SP 400 laser machines to cut letters/numbers using twill fabrics.
Select appropriate cutting programs and fixtures.
Establish proper stop locations and adjust the laser beam focal point.
Perform necessary setups for cutting operations.
Conduct all required dimensional inspections.
Perform prescribed maintenance on equipment as required.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor.
Perform other production-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Must have work authorization.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a laser operator.
Proficiency in English.
Attention to detail and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good punctuality.

Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 7:55 am – 4:25 pm (2 positions available)
Afternoon Shift: 4:25 pm – 12:55 am (2 positions available)

Additional Information:
Training will be provided.
Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
