Schedule:

● Monday to Friday Work Days

● On-Call Work – Occasional weekends as needed

Must be able to understand and read maps

We are currently seeking self-motivated, independent, and organized individuals to join our Transport/Driver team. The individuals we are looking for can take instructions and work with very little supervision, multi-task, and work well in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidates have previous commercial driving experience and are not only ambitious but resourceful as well in the workplace.

This position can be very fast-paced, and ideal candidates would thrive in this type of working environment.

Physical Requirements:

● Able to lift 70lbs of dead weight to move required materials and supplies

● Operating hand and power tools of all types when necessary

● Able to maintain a clean truck at all times

Requirements:

● Must provide an up-to-date eye exam

● Equipment/Driving Experience: Must demonstrate driving competency during a road test (prior to employment)

○ 3-5 years experience driving a Truck and 20ft Trailer or equivalent

○ Must be experienced and comfortable backing up a large truck and trailers into tight spaces

○ Additionally, Wheel loader and farm tractor experience is preferred but not required. (Willing to train)

● License Requirements:

○ Requires a minimum of a restricted license (AR without airbrake or higher preferred) If you do not have a restricted license please do not apply, employer will not respond

○ Must provide current driver’s abstract

● Able to maintain a clean and professional appearance including a company uniform

● Must be comfortable with strong odors due to the cargo being picked up and dropped off.

You will be handling deceased animal carcasses. (Horses, cows, and other various small species)

● Maintain constant communication during work hours on company-provided cell phone

● Must adhere to safety and safe working practices as per company requirements

● Must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

● Must have basic automotive repair skills

Tasks:

● Receive calls and coordinate with the administrative team to create and manage a daily schedule of pickups at drop-offs

● Perform daily equipment and vehicle inspections, sanitization, and preventative maintenance.

● Maintain a Daily Activity Log

● Maintain Daily Safety Logs

● This job isn’t a strictly driving position, you must be able to and willing to get out of the truck and load/unload machines and materials.

● During times without active pickups or driving perform other tasks including farm work, truck/trailer maintenance, cleaning, and organizing of the facility

● All hirees participate in all of our environmental projects as needed; Tree planting, river restoration, and other conservation work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
