Music Teachers Needed

School of Music Arts (also known as SMArts) is looking for a new teachers to join our amazing team. We currently have the following openings available:

-1-2 Piano instructors
-1-2 Voice instructors (preferably with ability to teach piano as a secondary instrument up to about Grade
4-6 RCM level)
-1 Woodwinds instructor (must include alto and tenor saxophone ability)
-1 Brass instructor (must include trumpet and trombone ability)
-1-2 Guitar instructors (preferably with the ability to teach ukulele as well)

What we are looking for in a teacher:
-Post-Secondary educational or performing background
-Outgoing and energetic individuals who enjoy working with people
-Ability to communicate musical concepts to young and old, beginner or advanced
-High degree of proficiency with your primary instrument
-Ability to teach additional instruments is a strong asset but not required
-Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
-Ability to be punctual and to communicate regularly with administrative staff
-Adaptable to changing student’s needs
