Seeking Experienced Nanny in Vancouver, BC – $17.4/Hour

Who are we : My name is Zoe, my husband Carlos, and our 2 years old daughter Leyla.
We are working mostly evenings and nights with a circus company as technician and acrobat. We travel every 2 to 3 months to different cities and we will be in Vancouver from September 29th until January 6th.

What are we looking for : We are looking for a flexible, responsible and passionated nannie for our beloved Leyla. She is very playful, energetic, curious and fun ! We do avoid screens and we promote being outside, interactions with others, and learning everything following her interest 🙂

We value those qualities: compassion and patience, creativity and playfulness, safety and open communication (maintaining transparency with both parents and children). You are also welcome to share your passions with her !

The ideal candidate will be passionate for caring for children, responsible, nurturing, and able to provide a safe and stimulating environment for our little one. Duties will include feeding, changing, bathing and bedtime routine (brushing teeth and story time)

What does she likes :
She started to speak French and she also understand Spanish and English. She love repeating words, observing, smelling flowers and climbing everywhere ! She is used to libraries and playgrounds, and can’t be tired of swinging and sliding !!!! She is really into « drawing », singing, dancing and reading books as well ! She loves interactions, being included in what we are doing !

Conditions – This is a live-in or live-out position:
1-We offer a hourly rate of 18$CAD in a warm, welcoming environment if live out.
2-Or, we will provide your own accommodation in a luxurious hotel, downtown Vancouver, that have gym and swimming pool, and we will also provide food and a small weekly fix salary.

What is the schedule like :
Monday and Tuesday are off.
Usually Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are not before 3pm until 10pm (could be earlier on Friday)
Saturday will be usually all day (10am to 10pm) Sunday from 11:30am to 7pm (with brunch at the circus) !
