Welder-Fabricator for Tank-Trailer Shop

G&D Tank Repair Inc is seeking a full time welder-fabricator from Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The candidate’s duties will include dismantling of tank-trailer suspensions, axles, frame, piping, fenders, brackets, etc and fabricating, repairing, replacing and modifying tank-trailer frames, components, brackets, piping, suspensions and axles. The candidate will require minimum 2 years experience in TIG and MIG welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium and torch cutting. The candidate must be mechanically inclined. The candidate will require minimum 2 years experience in hand tools, power tools air/electrical and fabricating equipment – brake press, shear, iron worker. The candidate must have their own tool box with basic hand tools, welding shield, 4-1/2″ grinder and 3/8″ drill air or electric. The candidate must have their own safety work boots. G&D Tank Repair Inc will provide coveralls, work gloves, welding gloves, safety glasses, safety shield, dust masks, ear plugs and necessary training for shop equipment.
