Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. Must have 3 years experience as an operator and previous experience installing shallow/deep utilities, trenching and back filling. Waterline trenching experience would definitely be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• 3 years experiance as an Excavator Operator. Other equipment such as loader is an asset.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
• Assist general laborer’s with tasks and give direction as required

Requirements:
• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation
• Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
• Proficiency in operating excavators and other heavy equipment
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must have CSTS/WHIMIS

Industry-competitive wages – the hourly wage for this position is based on previous experience and certifications.
