Responsibilities
● Front Staff
○ Greet and serve customers in a professional and friendly manner in person
and on the phone
○ Enter customer orders and collect payments using POS effectively
○ Assist kitchen staff in ensuring timely delivery of food to customers in a
professional manner
○ Handle any customer escalations in a professional and friendly manner
○ Ensure guests stay safe and orderly within the restaurant
○ Clean tables, Countertops, floors, bathroom, store front and anything else as
required
○ Set tables and ensure they’re ready for the next guest
○ Dressing and handling customers in professional attire (uniform) when
servicing customers
● Kitchen Staff
○ Perform regularly scheduled kitchen staff duties
○ Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes
○ Clean and sanitise dishes, cookware, utensils, workstations and anywhere
else required to keep the space clean and organised
○ Ensure food is prepared and cooked to the correct specifications.
○ Must follow food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and
food-borne illnesses.
○ Communicate with the rest of the kitchen staff and management team to
ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked in accordance to restaurant
standards.
○ Operating and maintaining cooking equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, and
grills.
○ Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
○ Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
○ Must adhere to health and safety regulations.
○ Adhere to appropriate company policies including dressing and professional
mannerisms. (ie: Uniforms, hair nets, Pop Cooler planogram, no personal
phones, Food handling certificate, etc)
Requirements
● Proven experience in the position of interest
● Excellent verbal communication and people skills
● Great at individual and teamwork
● Self motivated and ability to complete work without too much direction
● Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable
circumstances in a fast paced environment
● Physically able to perform required duties
● Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
● Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant’s operations, as
needed.
