Tire & Lube Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under direction of the manager, the lube/tire technician performs a variety of tasks including tire repairs, removing/installing tires, and changing engine oil.
Duties also include:
• Inspect, replace and repair tires
• Complete required paper work in an accurate, legible manner
• Keep shop manager informed of any problems regarding the shop or customer vehicle related matters
• Maintain a well-organized and professional work area
• Complete other related duties as required
• Must be able to lift 60lbs
• NOTE: This is not an apprenticeship, and is not intended to lead to one

REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid G drivers license
• Prior experience in tire installations & oil changes
• Working knowledge of tires, tools and equipment
• Ability to work with hand tools, hoists, floor jacks, etc.
• Strong work ethic including good attendance record
• Confidence and aptitude to operate independently or supervised
