Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Maker to join our team. As a Sushi Maker, you will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
– Prepare sushi rolls and nigiri according to recipes and customer preferences
– Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion
– Follow food safety standards and guidelines during food preparation
Skills
– Experience in the food service or food industry
– Knowledge of food safety practices
– Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
– Proficient in sushi making techniques
– Strong attention to detail and precision in food handling
– Previous experience as a cook or in a restaurant kitchen is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week (looking for someone who can work on weekends)
