Personal Attendant needed

Man with disability is hiring one or possibly two part-time attendants to assist him with private in-home assistance in Westbrook (west of Collins Bay Rd).

Scheduled Hours: – a morning shift Mon, Thurs, and Fri 7:00-8:00 am and Tues and Wed are 6:45-7:30am. Additionally, 3.5 hours every weekend. Possible for one person to do both shifts. You will also have the opportunity to cover any other open shifts because of illness or vacation of other attendants.

Salary: $25.00/hr $3 PER SHIFT travel allowance.

Duties: – include assisting with personal and household tasks like cooking/meal prep, light cleaning, assistance with dressing/transferring when needed, running errands and other tasks of daily living.

Training: – training will be provided. Looking for PSW’s, nurses, nursing students, or students in a medical/care giving course, who would be interested in being an attendant caregiver. A very relaxed atmosphere and uniforms are definitely NOT required.

Other details: regular handwashing and disinfecting techniques must be observed. any PPE will be supplied if required. The household includes a cat. Must have a valid Driver’s License and your own vehicle. Candidates must supply a clean CPIC.
