As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Crew Member and Snow Removal Operator to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Landscape Crew Member and Snow Removal Operator who is passionate about delivering exceptional landscaping services and ensuring safe, snow-free environments during winter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, construction and snow removal, with a dedication to high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Landscape Duties:
– Execute lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming and blowing/raking to achieve healthy and vibrant lawns.
– Perform gardening tasks such as edging, weeding, mulching, planting, fertilizing, aerating and soil preparation to enhance garden aesthetics.
– Trim and prune shrubs, trees and plants to promote optimal growth and appearance.
– Assist with softscape installations, including flower beds, groundcovers, sod, trees and other ornamental features.
– Support our landscape construction team using construction tools and equipment.
– Follow landscape design plans and project specifications to ensure quality and precision.
– Complete power washing for customers in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
– Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
– Represent the Spec Plus brand by providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns and requests with professionalism.

Snow Removal Duties:
– Operate snow removal equipment, including plows, shovels and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from properties.
– Implement snow removal strategies to ensure safe and accessible driveways, walkways and parking areas.
– Apply salt and de-icing agents as needed to prevent ice buildup and enhance safety.
– Respond promptly to weather conditions and emergency snow removal requests.
– Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction, including lawn care, gardening, trimming, pruning, softscape and hardscape installations.
– Previous experience with snow removal operations and equipment is highly desirable.
– Ability to operate and maintain landscaping and snow removal equipment safely and effectively.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
– Excellent physical stamina and capability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
– Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
– Valid G-level driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:
– Certification or training in landscaping or horticulture.
– Familiarity with snow removal best practices and equipment operation.
– Experience working in a variety of landscape settings and conditions.
