Hiring Garbage Truck Driver/Loader

Location: Markham, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 6 AM

Work Hours: Average 12-hour workdays
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour

Job Duties:

Operate a garbage or recycle truck as a single loader/operator.

Perform residential curbside pickup of garbage, yard waste, organics, and recycling.

Conduct daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Provide friendly, reliable service and complete daily routes.

Perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.

Collect and deliver waste to local transfer stations and landfills.

Requirements:

License: Minimum 1 year DZ / AZ license and DZ/ AZ Driving experience

Experience: Waste industry experience is an asset.

Driving Record: Clean Abstract & CVOR taken within 30days

Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and have a general labour background.

Skills: Ability to drive and load.

Weather: Able to work in all weather conditions.

Transportation: Reliable transportation required.

Equipment: Must have steel-toed work boots above the ankle.
