Roll Off Driver

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated DZ Driver to join their team. In this role, you will be a key part of waste management operations, driving either a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or a Side Loader Recycle Truck. Your responsibilities will include collecting various types of residential curbside waste and providing exceptional customer service.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Saturday
• Start time: 5:30 AM
• 1012-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $24.04 per hour

Requirements:

• Valid DZ license
• Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• 2 years of experience driving both manual and automatic trucks

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or Side Loader Recycle Truck
• Collect and transport residential curbside waste including garbage, yard waste, organics, and recycling
• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
• Deliver excellent customer service while efficiently completing assigned routes
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs from the ground into the hopper
• Dispose of collected waste at local transfer stations and landfills

Requirements:

• Valid DZ license
• Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Skilled in driving and loading trucks
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Steel-toed work boots that extend above the ankle
