Job Title: Personal Care Attendant/PSW
Location: 303 Clark Rd., Bath, Ontario
Pay: $18.50 – $25.00 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Attendant/PSW to assist an individual with a physical disability in their daily activities. The ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable, and able to perform a variety of personal care and household tasks.

Duties Include:
Mobility assistance: Lifting, transferring, positioning, and turning in bed.
Personal care: Dressing, bathing, grooming, and managing medications.
Household tasks: Meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
Assistance with special equipment: Maintenance of tracheotomy and respiratory equipment.
Emergency response: Handling ventilator emergencies and other urgent situations.
Snow removal from front walkway, back deck, and walkway for emergencies.

Requirements:
Education: Grade 12
Experience: 6-12 months of healthcare experience (preferred).
Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License, Own Car Insurance, First Aid.
Language: English
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must have good hearing to detect ventilator alarms.

Schedule:
Day Shift: 7 am – 3 pm
Evening Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm
Weekends as needed

Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy in providing personal services.
Must be physically capable of lifting, transferring, and boosting the employer with assistance or alone.
