PSW Needed

PSW – $22.35/hr

We are looking for a strong physically abled PSW to assist our elderly father, who is bed bound and has Parkinson’s. Additionally to help our mom with chores around the house.

• Bed bound – Age – 84 -year-old, Height – 6’2” (190 cm), Weight- Approximately 183lbs
• PSW must have experience in changing diapers alone
• Able reposition patient every 1-2hours to avoid bed sores
•Administering medicine through G-tube.
•Bed muscle exercise
• Must have a passion to work with the elderly and a positive attitude. • Must be able to motivate, encourage and converse with the patient

Salary $22.35/hr
Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
• 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Required:
• First Aid/CPR
• Police Check Vulnerable Sector
• Must have a car to travel to work
An asset if you have a background in:
• Physiotherapy/Kinesiology • Nursing • Past/Present Military experience • Coaching/Motivation
Activities (will be explained in more detail in person):
• Baths for father in bed
• Stretching of muscles, legs, arms massage
• Hand Dexterity movements
