Earn cash picking up textbooks on Saturdays in Ottawa

I’m an Ontario based bookseller looking for a driver to pick up textbooks from students in Ottawa Region on weekends, you’ll be provided with the info and availability of all the arranged pickups. Paying $20 per hour plus 15 cents a kilometer. Books must be inspected, weighed and footage of them taken before being dropped off at UPS the following business day.

Ideal candidate will:

-Reside in the Ottawa Region
-Have access to a vehicle – ideally something efficient, not a truck or van
-Own a bathroom scale for weighing the books
-Be available from 11:30-5 for pick book pickup and future
Saturdays on an as needed basis
-Be honest and trustworthy
-Be comfortable using phone apps
-Be able to handle books gently without damaging the pages or cover
-Have attention to detail
-Be strong enough to comfortably carry a box full of books
-Have good communication skills
-Past/current experience as a driver for Ubereats/Doordash etc. a plus

Pickups may take anywhere from 3-5 hours depending on the amount of stops.
