Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and tractor trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems, including tractor trailers and air brakes.
• Welding and fabricating skills for equipment repairs and custom modifications.
• Knowledge of MTO specifications and regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications are an asset.
