Key Responsibilities:

Transport goods and materials to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company standards to ensure the safety of yourself, your cargo, and other road users.
Manage and secure cargo according to company procedures to prevent damage or loss.
Handle unexpected delays and road conditions professionally and efficiently.
Follow company protocols for loading and unloading, ensuring proper documentation is completed.

Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of Canadian road laws and regulations.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
5, Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
