-8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Residential Building Superintendent to manage the day-to-day operations of our residential property. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various responsibilities with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee and manage the maintenance and cleanliness of the building and its grounds.
– Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and maintenance requests.
– Perform regular inspections of the property to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
– Coordinate and supervise contractors for repairs, renovations, and other building services.
– Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations.
– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
– Handle emergency situations effectively, including during off-hours.
– Ensure all common areas are clean, well-lit, and secure.

Requirements:

– Experience as a Building Superintendent or in a similar role is a plus.
– Skills:
– Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and repairs.
– Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills are a plus.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Language Skills: Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
– Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Salary
-Starts $19.50hr for the first 3 months $20.50hr after that
-Vacation pay
-Sick Pay
