Part-time Delivery & Pickup Driver Wanted

Our team provides medical equipment for rental in the GTA.
Our mission is to make clean, high quality medical equipment available to our clients, quickly and with minimum hassle.

NOTE: You MUST have your own vehicle to do this job. We pay per hour plus kilometres.

We are hiring a driver for pickup and delivery. Suitable for an existing rideshare or delivery driver with excess capacity
As a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver, you are primarily responsible for moving wheelchairs from our main base, to customer residences, demonstrating how to correctly use a wheelchair, and picking up wheelchairs from clients for return to main base.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Deliver lightweight wheelchairs to homes across Toronto
– Complete pre delivery inspection of wheelchair equipment
– Complete safety orientation with clients on delivery (open, close, brakes, and footrests)
– Pick up wheelchairs from various locations for return to main base
– Complete drop off and pick up of wheelchairs within pre-determined time windows
– Drive in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner
– Portray a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers, and customer

Requirements (Must have)
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
– Cell phone with data plan
– Familiarity with Ontario traffic laws and safe driving practices.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
– Ability to work split shifts (mornings and evenings) as well as weekends
– Ability to handle, secure, and transport items safely and securely.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, building valets, and others
How much you earn:
Earn $21 per hour, as well as a per kilometre rate.
