Hiring Machine operator

Shift: 2:50 pm to 12:50 am, Monday to Thursday
Position: Machine Operator (Bindery Assistant)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Set up and operate a variety of sheet-fed bindery equipment such as Stahl Folders, Polar Cutter, Easy Matrix Die Cutter and a ST-100 Stitcher
2. Interpret docket information, instructions, layouts, etc.
3. Adhere to production schedules
4. Organize, plan and prioritize work
5. Monitor product quality
6. Check work against layouts, proofs, and docket information
7. Quality control checks periodically throughout production
8. Perform safety inspections on equipment
9. Assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of Bindery Equipment
10. Maintains a safe work environment
11. This position also offers and requires the ability to work overtime when needed

Qualifications, Requirements:
Ø Good working knowledge of the Bindery Department and its role within the company
Ø Ability to set up and operator bindery equipment independently
Ø Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
Ø Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment
Ø Safety footwear is required
