Job Summary:
As a Laptop Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing laptops, ensuring excellent customer service, and providing timely solutions for hardware and software issues. You will work closely with other technicians and customer service staff to meet client needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laptop hardware and software issues, including but not limited to:
Screen replacements
Battery issues
Motherboard repair/replacement
Data recovery
Software installation and troubleshooting (Windows OS, drivers, etc.)
Perform upgrades such as RAM, SSD, and CPU installations.
Conduct regular maintenance, including cleaning and thermal paste application.
Test and verify repairs to ensure devices are fully functional.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding device care and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and job status in the company system.
Stay up-to-date with new laptop models, repair techniques, and industry trends.
Ensure all workstations and tools are well-maintained and organized.
Collaborate with other team members to meet service deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a laptop or computer repair technician.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues in Dell, Lenovo, HP laptops (experience with other brands is a plus).
Strong understanding of laptop operating systems, including Windows (knowledge of Linux/MacOS is a plus).
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
Certification in IT-related fields (CompTIA A, or equivalent) is a plus.
