We are interested in hiring a reliable, professional and compassionate person for a special needs individual.
Caregiver, nanny, students studying DSW and international trained nurses. No Canadian certification is required. However, past experience working with a disabled person with an Epilepsy is required.
Client: A special needs individual needs 24/7 supervison due to uncontrolled Epileptic seizures. He needs to be kept busy in different activities through out the day. No lifting and carrying is needed. He is not an elderly person.
Social behaviour training: He is motivated to do a lot of things, non aggressive towards others, can talk but not able to communicate properly. We teach him proper behavior in the society and a proper communication option. Constant communication and interaction is required. A positive person with an extrovert personality will find this position extremely easy.
Personal Hygiene: Partially dependent upon feeding, fully dependent upon toilet care such as taking him to the toilet, cleaning him after the bowel movement, shower etc.
Location: Close to Yonge and Steele.
Pay: $15 to $16 to start.
Please note: we can offer a job with SIN as well.
Days and hours: Monday to Friday. We can offer to multiple people.
9 am to 5 pm.
We offer 1 week of volunteering if needed.. However, we will prefer people who have experience and can work independently.
We pay for the courses related to management of Epilepsy and other relevant courses to the selected applicants.
