Part Time Dishwasher / kitchen helper — Rabbit Hole Sparks st.

Located in the bustling heart of downtown Ottawa on Sparks street, Rabbit Hole is an exciting and dynamic restaurant focused on pizza, cocktails and oysters. We are looking for someone to join our squad in the back of house, working as a dishwasher.

The dish situation in our restaurants presents some challenges; our dishwasher alternates between two different dish pits, one on the main floor and one in the basement. Our basement setup includes a low-temp machine, 3 compartment sink, ample shelving, the works. This is our primary dishpit and all cutlery/ plate ware etc. goes through there. Our ground floor setup in the kitchen uses a single high temp machine and a single compartment washing sink, both for kitchen wares only. We hope to find the right player who has the ability to alternate between these two and keep them relatively clear throughout the shift. Typical shifts include 12pm – 5pm, 5pm-12am and 6pm – 2am. You may also be helped to help with some prep work for the kitchen during slow times with tasks such as preparing or rolling pizza dough, picking herbs and so on.

Experience working as a dishwasher is mandatory. We hire all of our dishwashers at 18$/hr as a pay floor.
