Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
– Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
– Follow food safety standards and guidelines for food preparation
– Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management
Qualifications
– Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred
– Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations (Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate a MUST)
– Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
– Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and drink offerings
