Steele Honda is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman Technician to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about the automotive industry
• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide an acceptable driver’s abstract
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
• Must be Red Seal Certified
• Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.

Responsibilities:

• In order to support our booming and growing pre-owned business, we require a Pre-Owned Reconditioning Technician
• Have the ability to work on a diverse selection of makes, models and years.
• You enjoy working on a vehicle to bring it up to standard and take pride in your ability to see the before and after
• You have the ability to troubleshoot unique problems or vehicles
• Top notch equipment to get the job done
• Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
