Assistant Manager at Paradise Poké

Position: Assistant Manager (Hybrid: Front of House & Kitchen)
Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
Location: Paradise Poké – 118 Holland ave & 134 Bank St
Shifts: No late nights or early mornings

As our Assistant Manager, you’ll get hands-on experience in both the front of house and the kitchen, making this the perfect opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set in the restaurant industry.

What You’ll Do:

Front of House:
– Greet and interact with guests, ensuring they have a fantastic dining experience.
– Work with Management and Owners to oversee staff performance, training, and scheduling to maintain our high standards.
– Build Bowls with customers to there exact requests
– Accommodate customers allergy/dietary requirements
– Handle payments, manage inventory, and ensure a clean and organized dining area.

Back of House:

– Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring every bowl is a masterpiece.
– Support kitchen operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
– Step in to help with cooking, prepping, or any other tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

– A friendly, positive attitude with a passion for food and people.
– A clear ability to communicate with both customers and team members
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday (no late nights or early mornings!)

Schedule:

Tuesday: 11:30-4:30
Wednesday: 11:30-4:30
Thursday: 11:30-4:30
Friday: 11:30-4:30
Saturday: 10am-9pm

You must be able to work these hours, if not, please do not apply. The hours might change as you grow with us but for now, these are the required shifts.
