Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operations Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering drywall and building materials to our valued customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation and delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse and distribution center in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partner
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff members
• Monitor and report on operational performance and KPIs
• Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and service quality
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service
• Create long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently
• Coordinate with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts
• Analyze budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profits
• Develop and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated
• Identify problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly
• Monitor changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution management
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant tools
• Commitment to excellence in customer service and safety
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role a plus
