DZ Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a DZ class vehicle to deliver building materials to various locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition including most direct routes for timely delivery, in the sequence for multiple deliveries in accordance with dispatch requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns.
• Prepare the load for delivery. Ensure content for accuracy and secure the load while performing delivery of goods meeting company standards to avoid damage
• Daily circle check and maintenance requirement reporting
• Maintain contact with dispatch as necessary.
• Ensure safety of fellow workmen during construction and in compliance with applicable regulations and safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety and transportation regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid DZ drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a DZ Driver, preferably in the construction or building materials industry
• Willingness to work various hours as well as overtime and weekends when necessary
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Capacity to follow written instructions and documented procedures
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Encore has acquired a strategic partnership with CSR Building Supplies and will operate the building supply division of the company, while the ownership group of CSR, focuses on growing their innovative tool operation.
