The ideal candidate: Valid Ontario License with minimum B or F classes drives licences, clean driving record and clean criminal background check. With good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, excellent decision making skills and strict attention to detail. The ability to speak English, French or multiple languages an asset. Minimum 2 years experience.

The job involves: Providing high quality transportation service in all weather conditions Cleaning, inspecting and maintaining vehicles Stocking and ensuring vehicle is serviceable prior to each trip, maintaining manual logs for internal and external services Utilizing GPS devices Working alongside Dispatchers to communicate run information Driving in high volume traffic on highways Possibly lifting up to 35 lbs on a regular basis Working safely, and in compliance with all policies and legislation.
Thorough knowledge of the City of Ottawa and surrounding area. Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
