Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups in a timely manner
• Communicate with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and resolve any issues
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and driver logs
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Work closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory and prepare orders for delivery
• Assist with route planning to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Follow all internal processes consistently and accurately
• Promote and support all company policies and initiatives to ensure the safety of our employees and our customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics role
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Computer literacy
• Proficient in using dispatch software and other computer applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer-focused with a commitment to providing excellent service
• Certification in logistics is a plus
• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics role is a plus

Encore is specifically looking for people in the GTA, as well as the Trenton and surrounding area.

Encore has acquired a strategic partnership with CSR Building Supplies and will operate the building supply division of the company, while the ownership group of CSR, focuses on growing their innovative tool operation.
