Job Information and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Executive and Professional Development (EPD), the Program Assistant will:
- Be responsible for coordinating the delivery of EPD programs offered at the Sobey School of Business and in addition Special Projects coordinated by the Project Manager.
- Provide administration and coordination of each program through liaising with program instructors, directing and coordinating, as required student assistants and communicating with internal University departments as well as external organizations.
- Provide support and input with daily operations, procedures and office administrative duties.

Experience and Education Requirements
To be the successful Program Assistant you will have:
- Completion of High School plus formal technical, commercial, or vocational program of more than six months in duration.
- Two years to less than three years’ experience.
- High level of personal integrity and professional initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pay attention to details in a high volume and busy environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with desktop publishing techniques and web page design.
