Lake Job

The Location: a private island on Lake of the Woods, 2kms from a private landing / parking lot, about 1 hour south of Kenora.
The Job: help people go fishing. Shuttle guests and supplies to/from our landing in a 20-foot console boat, help launch boats and tie to at our docks, handle luggage, daily maintenance of our fleet of tiller boats, cut grass, other minor landscaping and groundskeeping duties.
The Pay: dayrates, tips and bonuses with wifi, room & board supplied. Extended breaks are available.
The Schedule: split shifts, 8 to 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, starts seasonally in mid May and ends in late October.

We are a tourist resort that offers all-inclusive fishing vacations to people that have been visiting our camp for decades from all over the world (mostly the US). We have a solid reputation for our high quality meals and equipment, clean cabins and a courteous service team. Candidates must be polite and presentable and have a clean criminal record. This job has annual opportunities as well as for advancement to guiding. Some construction, handyman, landscaping experience would be an asset and a watercraft license will be required.
