Journeyperson Welder

Join Prefurd Oilfield Services, where we value teamwork, safety, and a commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyperson B-pressure/structural welder to join our dynamic team at our Grande Prairie, AB facility.
Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks such welding, interpreting isometrics and fabricating correctly as per the drawings, lifting fittings, working Fabrication team and Quality Control.
Key Requirements:
– Team collaboration skills
– Exemplary organizational abilities
– Valid Class 5 driver’s license
– Basic computer proficiency
– Able-bodied and capable of carrying out physical activities.
– Committed to prioritizing safety and a focus on maintaining a safe environment.
– Must possess a journeyman Welder certificate
– Must possess small bore/ SMAW processes (ABSA)
– Must possess clean drivers abstract
– First Aid Level C with AED, H2S Alive, CSO, Fall Protection would be an asset, but not required.
– Vessel and fire tube repair experience an asset, but not required.
– CWB GMAW and FCAW would be an asset, but not required.

Work Schedule:
– 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability as required.
