Driller Assistant / Traffic Control

Assisting driller in anyway required for the completion of borehole advancement in a variety of methods including but not limited to the following:
1. Continuous flight hollow and solid stem drilling
2. Cased and open hole wash boring
3. Rock coring
4. Compressed air DTH drilling
• Loading and unloading of drilling supplies and equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness of job site and equipment
• Opening, closing and cleaning split spoon sample tubes
• Back-filling of boreholes and cutting removal
• Driving vehicles and equipment to, from and around sites
• Locating and plotting accurate and logical routes to and from sites
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date MTO logbook
• Remote site work: mining, and remote locations, etc
• Additional tasks as required
• Traffic Control as needed
• Shop help as needed
Qualifications:
• Valid G2 License
• Clean drivers abstract
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
Compensation:
• $20-$23 / hour starting (depending on experience)
