Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturer supplying over half the North American car market is seeking Material Handlers to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the production area, supporting materials management.  The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, enjoys learning and seeking permanent employment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Material Handler
Location:  Collingwood
Pay Range:  $21.66 – $22.66/hr

What’s the Job?
•    Bringing products to machine operators using material handling equipment
•    Removing full bins from work-stations and replenishing with empty bin
•    General receiving and warehouse activities as needed
•    Distribution of product and material within facility
•    In-house forklift certification provided 

What’s Needed?
•    Flexibility to work a Mid-Aft-Day weekly rotation (11pm-7am / 3pm-11pm / 7am – 3pm)
•    Able to lift (up to) 50lbs, with some bending, reaching 
•    Enjoys a combination of walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching throughout the day 
•    Ability to work and adapt in a steady to at times, fast-paced environment
