Seeking Part-time Weekend Elder Care

Seeking a patient, reliable care provider for an elderly Italian couple still residing in their own home. Clients are still somewhat independent but could use some help with day-to-day activities. Position is part-time, weekend daytime hours (Saturday/Sunday). $22/hour. Main intersection: Jane Street & Maple Leaf Road.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
– Household cleaning/laundry
– Meal preparation/clean-up
– Medication Adherence
– Personal care

Applicants must be/have:
– able to work in Canada (not willing to sponsor)
– fluent in English (speaking Italian would be a big bonus)
– a clear criminal background check (will be requested prior to hire)
– vaccinated against COVID-19 (record will be requested prior to hire)
– detail-oriented and take initiative (i.e. notice what needs to be done without having to be asked)
– CPR/First Aid training and experience with dementia clients is a plus
