Pay Rate: $22/hr
Shift Time: 7 AM – 3 PM
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our client’s event staff in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, follow detailed recipes, prepare main dishes, and efficiently set up their station. This position requires a strong culinary background and the ability to perform in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare and cook main dishes according to provided recipes
- Set up and manage a designated kitchen station, ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are in place
- Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout the shift
- Assist with other kitchen duties as required, including food preparation and plating
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed recipes
- Experience in preparing main dishes and managing a kitchen station
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Non-slip shoes
