Apprentice Mechanic

Quantum Equipment LTD requires a full-time Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanic for the Calgary Location. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a fleet of Semi, Cranes/Picker Trucks and Trailer. Quantum Equipment LTD offers an above average work environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for the Mechanic position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements:

· Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician Ticket- Second/Third Year Preferred

· Valid (or willing to obtain) class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with airbrake endorsement

· Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

· Shift work required

As a mechanic, your duties are as follows:

· Maintenance/repair of Assets

· CVIP Inspections

· Respond to breakdowns

· Spring and winter maintenance

– Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
