CNC Machinist (Mill)

CNC MACHINIST – MILL
Location: BRAMPTON
Shifts: Days
Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.85/hr.

CNC Machinist is responsible for setup and operation of the CNC milling machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read process sheets, blueprints and/sketches of part to determine final product
Review specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions of finished product
Responsible for editing programs
Ensure effective production of quality parts by checking drawing/sketches, using gauges and other measuring

Equipment
Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
Set up operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

QUALIFICATIONS:
Min of 5 years experience in CNC machining
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to read blueprints/sketches.
