Collision Repair Estimator – St. John’s, NL
Jump Recruitment Specialists is searching for qualified candidates for the position of Collision Repair Estimator, for our client The Collision Clinic Ltd.

THE ROLE:
As the Collision Repair Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing collision damaged vehicles to create a repair plan and apply pricing utilizing insurance guidelines and communicating with automobile technicians, painters, and other staff to create repair plans. You will also write repair plans using Audatex and Mitchell Estimating Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of repair planning, uploading into claims system ensuring all documentation and images attached and authorization completed.
- Maintain standard repair procedures and insurance compliance standards throughout the process and audit as required, always ensuring positive relationships with insurance personnel.
- Ensure administrative operations are maintained and compliance being met with processes running smoothly.
- Works to address all customer concerns and ensure satisfaction with final product when repairs are complete. Resolve any concerns in a swift, courteous, and professional manner.
- Abide by all Collision Clinic processes and policies in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and production site performance measures.
- Work with management to ensure capacity, metrics and targets are met.
- Perform minor repairs, and all other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of progressive industry experience preferable, within the collision industry.
- Mechanical and/or autobody repair experience required.
- A good understanding of the vehicle repair and insurance processes are necessary to communicate effectively with administrative and repair personnel.
- Knowledgeable of how to use standard industry equipment and tools.
- Quality – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality and accurate repair plan is delivered.
- Must be able to make decisions and respond quickly to unexpected situations.
- Observes safety and security precautions and follows procedures in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
- Highly credible individual with record of integrity, self-motivation, and strong work ethics.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency.
- Experience with Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems is an asset
