Seeking framer/laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures such as stairways, doorframes, partitions, and rafters. The Framing Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, as well as assembling and installing structures according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of framing structures

• Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools

• Assemble and install framing structures, including walls, floors, and roofs

• Install windows, doors, and other fixtures

• Inspect and repair damaged framing structures

• Ensure that all work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Framing Carpenter

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy materials

• Must have drivers license and vehicle

Working Conditions: The Framing Carpenter will work primarily on construction sites, which may be indoors or outdoors. The work may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, and other hazards. The Framing Carpenter may be required to work in inclement weather conditions and may need to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
