Billing Representative

Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Reimbursement Specialist to join our clients team in Mississauga. The primary role of this position is to compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing and reconciling financial records, preparing itemized statements, and performing bookkeeping tasks.

Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance and reconcile batch control totals with source documents or computer listings to identify and correct errors.
  • Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices, and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
  • Reconcile and post receipts for cash received by various departments.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks including posting data and maintaining records related to costs and shipments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and company accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other related accounting software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
