Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Carpenter.
Job Location: Exshaw, AB
Wage:$ 30-35 hourly depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
– Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
– Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
– Instruct apprentices
– Supervise other workers
– Operate CADD and other computer software systems
– Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people
Languages: English
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: 5 years or more
Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty
Work setting: Construction, Commercial, Residential
Credentials: Carpenter Trade Certification
Experience and specialization: Shop drawings, computer and technology knowledge, Computer Numerical control (CNC) machines.
Transportation: own transportation, willing to travel regularly, valid driver’s licence.
Work condition and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads, Overtime required, Physically demanding.
