We are seeking a Part-time Administrator/Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team!
We are a growing physiotherapy clinic seeking an Admin/Physiotherapy assistant. As an Admin/Physiotherapy Assistant at Kleinburg Physiotherapy, you are an important member of our clinical team. You are responsible for booking clients, taking phone calls, inputting client information for reports and forms. Further, you will be assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, and responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment. As a significant contributor, you are the type of person who will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers.
Your responsibilities would include:
• Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.
• Administrative duties, as required
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Collecting outcome measure data
• Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
• Inventory of clinical supplies
Qualifications:
• PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred
• Previous experience working within a clinic setting or reception experience preferred but not required
• Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills
Hours Needed:
• Monday and Wednesday Mornings 8 to 11:30am
• Fridays from 4:30 pm to 7:30
• Hours to expand as the clinic grows
