Forklift Mechanic

Our client is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be part of the field service team as a Road Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have Red Seal Heavy Duty experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Pay Range: $26 to $29 plus incentives

What’s the Job?

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• In shop and on road work required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Reconditioned and remanufactured components as required for equipment, engine, and hydraulic repairs.
• Update and maintain service warranty records, fill out warranty information and complete work orders.

What’s Needed?

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in mechanical repairs, IE automotive, diesel engine.
• Clear communication, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Meet requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments
