As a member of the Regulator Services team, this position is accountable for the following:

  • Accepts, reviews and processes license applications in an efficient manner;
  • Organizes all necessary license documentation and ensures it is complete and accurate before licenses are issued;
  • Advises applicants on the licensing procedure and provides recommendations when required;
  • Maintains and ensures the accuracy of information and records of an operational database;
  • Facilitates licensing matters with outside municipal, provincial and federal agencies;
  • Delivers strong customer service to the general public who inquire about matters related to licenses, Regulatory Services and legislation;
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of departmental documents and policies;
  • Executes ad hoc projects related to licensee communication in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Completion of two (2) year diploma in Office Administration;
  • A minimum of four (4) years experience as administrative support;
  • Ability to operate office equipment and maintain accurate and comprehensive records;
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills;
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines;
  • Strong background in customer service;
  • Applicant should possess advanced computer software skills in order to efficiently use computer programs and applications pertinent to this position;
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office;
  • Administrative support experience pertaining to licensing legislation and related policies would be considered an asset.

Salary: CG 27: $46,373.60 – $51,287.60 annually
