CNC Programmer – Cabinetry & Millworks

7 Point Millworks is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Vision CNC Programmer for Custom cabinetry and millworks shop to join our team in the millwork industry. Job Description: Cabinet Vision / CNC Engineer

Must have 2 years experience with Cabinet Vision software, or any comparable cabinet/millwork S2M design software.

Core Responsibilities
– Engineer projects in Cabinet Vision in a way that adheres to standards and leads to efficient installs
– Ensure all special-order items have been ordered accurately and in time for installation
– Manage material orders and handling to minimize inventory
– Work with programming lead to troubleshoot problems, and ensure continuous production
– Minimize production errors

Daily Duties
– Draw projects in Cabinet Vision from designs submitted by the Design Team
– Output parts to the CNC and ensure accurate labeling
– Place orders for non-inventory items for each job (decorative doors, specialty hardware, etc.)
– Program and cut any specialty pieces
– Order inventory items as necessary
– Manage CNC tooling and work with vendors to maintain bits
– Work with Programming Lead and Shop Manager to ensure all maintenance is complete on shop machinery
– Review upcoming jobs with install teams to review engineering and install strategy

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift (Hours of operation – Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm) Overtime may happen from time to time.

Experience:
• Cabinet Vision CNC Programming: 2 year (Required)
